Darias Dash Privacy Policy

The app

This policy applies to the Darias Dash Android app published by DariasApp (package: com.dariasapp.dariasdash). Contact: dariast34@gmail.com.

Darias Dash compares the encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) connections of public providers such as Cloudflare, Google Public DNS, Quad9, and AdGuard, then uses the lowest-latency provider.

Accounts and data we collect

The app does not create an account and does not send your name, email, or phone number to a DariasApp server. Language preference is stored on the device.

Local VPN / DNS

Android requests VPN permission so DNS requests can be routed through the local VPN interface to the selected DNS provider. During speed tests, sample DNS queries are sent over HTTPS to the providers being compared. After connection, Android DNS queries are sent encrypted over HTTPS to the selected provider. The DNS provider may receive your queries and connection IP address; its privacy policy governs its use and retention.

Darias Dash does not store DNS queries or send them to DariasApp servers. Other app internet traffic is not routed through DariasApp servers. Speed-test results remain on the device and are used to choose a provider.

Ads and Google AdMob

The app may show a Google AdMob app-open ad. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address, advertising ID, device information, and app interactions under Google’s policies for serving, measuring, and (where consent allows) personalizing ads.

In required regions, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) asks for ad preferences. You can reopen that choice from Privacy options in the app.

Children

Darias Dash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Retention

Language and connection state on the device are removed when the app is uninstalled. Retention of Google advertising data follows Google’s policies.
