About FACE OFF
This Privacy Policy applies to the FACE OFF Android game published by DariasApp (package name: com.dariasapp.faceoff).
FACE OFF is an entertainment game with modes such as Don’t Blink, Don’t Smile, and Reaction Test. Gameplay uses the device camera and on-device face/expression detection. The app shows Google AdMob interstitial ads and uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). The app supports Turkish and English.
Camera Usage
The camera is used during gameplay to detect face movements such as blinking, smiling, or reaction. Camera access is part of the game experience.
FACE OFF does not save photos or videos of your face. Camera frames are not stored in a gallery, a file, or on DariasApp servers.
Face Detection and On-device Processing
Face and expression detection is processed on the device using Google ML Kit Face Detection. Camera frames are processed on the device for gameplay. DariasApp does not upload those images to its own servers.
FACE OFF does not store face images, face templates, or biometric identifiers. Detection is used to run the current game round. It is not used to identify or recognize who you are.
Information Processed
FACE OFF does not require an account and does not ask you to send DariasApp a name, email address, or phone number.
For gameplay, camera frames are processed on the device and are not retained as photos or videos. Basic app settings such as language preference may be stored on the device.
To show ads and (in required regions) manage consent, Google’s advertising and UMP services may process technical data such as a device or advertising identifier, IP address, and usage-related information under Google’s own policies. DariasApp does not collect that advertising data to build a separate user profile.
Advertising and Google AdMob
The app shows interstitial ads through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads). Google may process a device/advertising ID, IP address, device information, and technical app-usage data to serve, measure, and (depending on consent) personalize ads.
How Google processes advertising data is governed by Google’s privacy policy and ad settings.
User Messaging Platform / Consent
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used in regions where applicable rules require it, to manage advertising preferences and consent status. Available choices can vary by region and by the messaging Google provides.
Consent information managed by UMP may be processed on the device and through Google services so the ads SDK can operate as required.
Data Sharing
DariasApp does not sell personal data obtained through FACE OFF.
Third-party service providers:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — advertising
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — advertising consent and preference messaging
- Google ML Kit Face Detection — on-device face/expression detection
These providers may process data under their own privacy policies. DariasApp does not upload camera images to third parties. ML Kit face detection runs on the device for gameplay.
Data Retention
DariasApp does not retain face images or camera recordings. Game or settings data stored on the device is removed if you uninstall the app or clear the app’s data.
Retention of advertising and consent data held by Google is governed by Google’s policies. DariasApp does not control those third-party retention periods.
Data Security
Because camera processing and local settings stay on the device, security also depends on the security of that device. DariasApp does not operate an account system for FACE OFF and does not store face images.
Technical data related to ads and consent may be transmitted through Google’s infrastructure. The security of those transfers depends on Google’s practices.
Children's Privacy
FACE OFF is a general entertainment game. Age ratings and target audience settings are configured in Google Play Console and may be updated over time.
DariasApp does not use the app to collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has shared personal information through the app, they may contact us using the details below.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if FACE OFF’s behavior or the services it uses change. When that happens, the “Last updated” date on this page will change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
